Registration

Thank you for your interest in PACMUN 2017! Registration will open in September. While conference pricing is up to date, this page will be updated with further PACMUN 2017 details prior to the opening of registration. Until then, refer to this page for information on 2016's registration process.

To register for the conference, the process must be initiated by an advisor or head delegate by filling out the delegation registration. After the delegation registration, the advisor/head delegate will receive an email notifying them that their delegates can now register. All delegates must register individually by filling out the delegate registration on our website.

During delegation registration, the advisor/head delegate will be prompted to select a “delegate registration deadline” on the “Select your delegate registration deadline” page. This deadline is the date in which all delegate registrations must be completed and submitted to PACMUN. The delegation will then receive an invoice within 24 hours of the selected date and they must provide payment within 10 days to retain the spots that their delegates have received. The deadline that is selected will determine the amount charged per delegate. If the deadline that is selected is on or before September 16, the delegation will be charged $115 per delegate; if the deadline that is selected is on or before November 4th, the delegation will be charged $120 per delegate; if the deadline that is selected after November 4th, the delegation will be charged $125 per delegate.

Step 1- Delegation Registration


Advisors/head delegates will navigate to the Delegation Registration Form on the PACMUN website.


On the form’s “Payment Method” page, advisors/head delegates will select the individual payment plan, meaning that their delegates will be required to submit payment through Jotform at the end of their Delegate Registration Form.


On the form’s “Select Your Delegate Registration Deadline” page, advisors/head delegates will select a deadline for their student’s Delegate Registration Form submissions.The deadline selected will determine the delegate registration fee.


  • If the deadline selected falls within the Early Registration time frame (9/1-9/15), the delegate registration fee will be $115.


  • If the deadline selected falls within the Regular Registration time frame (9/16-11/4), the fee will be $120.


  • If the deadline selected falls within the Late Registration time frame (11/5-Conference Capacity), the fee will be $125.


The PACMUN delegate affairs team will read through the Delegation Registration Form submission, and if acceptable, add the school to the school list on the delegate registration form, and create a Delegate Assignment and Rooming Arrangement Google Spreadsheet for that school to be shared to the advisor.


Step 2- Delegate Registration


After their school has been registered delegates will navigate to the Delegate Registration Form on the PACMUN website. Delegates will fill out their contact info and committee requests, and then pay in order to complete their registration.


The Saturday after their submission, the DA team will assign the delegate his/her position, and enter their position into the Delegate Assignment sheet (which was shared to advisors in step 1).


Step 3- Completing Registration


Before their Delegate Registration deadline, advisors/head delegates must notify the DA team in an e-mail that they have completed the Rooming Assignment Google spreadsheet shared to them earlier.


24 hours after the selected Delegate Registration deadline, an invoice covering the delegation fee and any additional fees (chaperone rooms, etc.) will be sent to an e-mail chosen by the advisor/head delegate. This invoice must be paid within 10 days to retain the spots that the delegation has received.

Delegates will navigate to the PACMUN website and work through the delegate registration form. On the school drop down menu the delegate will select the option “my school is not registered.” Delegates will fill out their contact info, their committee requests, and then pay in order to complete their registration.


The Saturday after their submission, the DA team will notify the delegate his/her position in an e-mail.


The delegate will be placed in a room with 3 other individual delegates, or an unfilled delegation’s room.

The earlier a delegate applies for financial aid, the higher the likelihood they will have of receiving it.

If a delegate requires financial aid from PACMUN, they will upload a completed financial aid form (found below) in place of payment on the Delegate Registration Form.

Within 72 hours, the DA team will review the financial aid application and notify the delegate of whether or not their application was approved.

Financial Aid Application

Except for special circumstances, all delegates will be housed in single-sex, quadruple rooms at the Seattle Westin. Please note that the registration fee covers only Saturday night; should delegates need to spend Friday night at the Westin Seattle, an additional $215 per room will be added to their delegation's fees.

Within 24 hours of a Delegation Registration submission, the DA team will share a Rooming Arrangement Google spreadsheet to the advisor/head delegate. Advisors must notify the Delegate Affairs team in an e-mail that they have completed the Rooming Assignment Google spreadsheet before their self selected delegate registration deadline.

If the delegation is not divisible by four, delegates will have the option to upgrade to a triple room for no added price, or combine with members of another delegation.

*For simplicity, all rooming arrangements and requests should be made through advisors/head delegates.

While delegates are registering, delegate assignments that were shared via email in a Google Spreadsheet to advisors/head delegates after Step 1 (delegation registration) will be continuously updated for delegates 72 hours after each delegate completes their individual registration.

Advisors/head delegates can choose to move around delegate assignments by emailing PACMUN delegate affairs at delegateaffairs@pacificmun.com

There are two types of waivers: Delegate Waivers and Supplementary Independent Delegate Waivers.

Delegates coming with a delegation must bring a signed, physical copy of the Delegate Waiver to the first day of the conference during registration. This waiver will be provided by their advisors, and will also be available on the Delegate Registration Form and PACMUN’s website.

Independent delegates (coming without a delegation) must bring signed, physical copies of the Delegate Waiver and Supplementary Independent Delegate Waiver to the first day of the conference during registration. This waiver will be e-mailed to them, and will also be available the Delegate Registration Form and PACMUN’s website.
