Registration

Thank you for your interest in PACMUN 2017! Registration is open from now until conference capacity!

To register for the conference, the process must be initiated by an advisor or head delegate by filling out the delegation registration. After the delegation registration, the advisor/head delegate will receive an email notifying them that their delegates can now register. All delegates must register individually by filling out the delegate registration on our website.

Step 1- Delegation Registration


This form is to only be filled out by one head delegate/advisor per delegation.


Advisors/head delegates will navigate to the Delegation Registration Form from the PACMUN website.


On the forms “Payment Information” section, the advisor/head delegate will select that they would like to use the individual payment method, meaning that they delegates will be directed to pay through PayPal after they have registered through the delegate registration Cognito Form.


Once the Delegate Registration Form is submitted, the Delegate Affairs team will review the response and, if acceptable, add the school to the school list on the Delegate Registration Form. The Delegate Affairs team will also create two Google Sheets spreadsheets, one for Delegate Assignment and the other for Rooming Assignments, both of which will be shared with the advisor.


Step 2- Delegate Registration


After their school has been registered, delegates will navigate to the Delegate Registration Form on the PACMUN website. Delegates will fill out their contact info and committee requests, and then pay in order to complete their registration.


The Delegate Affairs team will then review the submission and assign the delegate his or her position, which will then be entered on the spreadsheet shared with the advisor.


Step 3- Completing Registration


Once a sufficient number of delegates from your delegation are registered, the Delegate Affairs team will begin to fill out the rooming assignments. The rooming assignments will be finalized two weeks before the conference.


Within 24 hours of the Delegate Registration deadline for the delegation’s registration period, an invoice covering fees additional to delegate fees (chaperone rooms, additional nights, etc.) will be sent to an email chosen by the advisor/head delegate. This invoice must be paid within 10 days to retain the spots and rates that the delegation has received.

On the school drop down menu, the delegate will select the option “my school is not registered.” Delegates will fill out their contact info, their committee requests, and then pay the delegate fee in order to complete their registration.


Soon after their submission, the DA team will notify the delegate of his/her position in an email.


The delegate will be placed in a room with 3 other individual delegates, or an unfilled delegation’s room.

If a delegation's fees are not fully paid by the end of a registration period, the delegation will have a 10 day grace period in which to pay the invoice. After this 10 day grace period, all delegate fees will be assessed at the delegate fee rate for the new registration period.

The earlier a delegate applies for financial aid, the higher the likelihood they will have of receiving it.

If a delegate requires financial aid from PACMUN, they will upload a completed financial aid form (found below) in place of payment on the Delegate Registration Form.

Within 72 hours, the DA team will review the financial aid application and notify the delegate of whether or not their application was approved.

Financial Aid Application

Except for special circumstances, all delegates will be housed in single-sex, quadruple rooms at the Seattle Westin. Please note that the registration fee covers only Saturday night; should delegates need to spend Friday night at the Westin Seattle, an additional $215 per room will be added to their delegation's fees.

Within 24 hours of a Delegation Registration submission, the DA team will share a Rooming Arrangement Google spreadsheet to the advisor/head delegate. Advisors must notify the Delegate Affairs team in an e-mail that they have completed the Rooming Assignment Google spreadsheet before their self-selected delegate registration deadline.

If the delegation is not divisible by four, delegates will have the option to upgrade to a triple room for no added price, or combine with members of another delegation.

*For simplicity, all rooming arrangements and requests should be made through advisors/head delegates.

While delegates are registering, delegate assignments that were shared via email in a Google Spreadsheet to advisors/head delegates after Step 1 (delegation registration) will be continuously updated for delegates 72 hours after each delegate completes their individual registration.
